Professionals Guild hosts Bay Area Singles Parties as well as parties the in Sacramento area. What are the parties like, you may be wondering.



  When you first arrive you will be asked to register. If you would like to get emails about the parties or postcard invitations, be sure to fill out all the details on the registration form.

Mixer Game. Once you register and pay the party fee (usually $15 for members and $25 for non-members), you will be given a mixer game card. The mixer game is optional, but we suggest you participate because it makes it easy to meet new people. What's the game like?  It's very non-threatening. For example, the card might suggest that you discuss a certain topic with 3 people and get their signatures. Then you can turn in the card for a raffle ticket to win a nice prize.

Dance Lesson.  Often there is a dance lesson. The lesson serves two purposes -- one is that it gives you another opportunity to meet new people, because we change partners frequently during the lesson. The other purpose, of course, is to help you learn some new dance moves and have more fun dancing. Often the dance lesson teachers salsa, nightclub two step, or hustle.

Open Dancing.  Usuaing open dancing starts around 9 or 9:15pm. We dance to great tunes from the 70's, 80's, 90's to the best current hits.
