Sacramento Singles can enjoy huge monthly singles parties at elegant locations in the greater Sacramento area -- thanks to Professionals Guild, an organization devoted to serving single professionals. These Sacramento Singles dance parties are a good alternative to the bar scene. Soft music plays early in the evening as singles mingle and flirt while snacking and enjoying fresh fruit, lunch meat, bread, and cheese. Around 9:30 PM, the music heats up and a DJ (sometimes a live band) plays dance music -- hits from the 70's through current hits. Most of the music is fast and occasionally the band (or DJ) will slip in a slow romantic number.

Party Tips
Consider
coming alone so that you don't just hang out with your friends. It makes
it easier to mingle when you come alone.
On the flipside, consider inviting some friends to come with you to the party with the idea of splitting up early you can network more easily. Also plan on hooking up again later in the party at a certain time to exchange ideas or give a "progress report."
Expect
that you will have a good time.
Ask at least five (5) people to dance.
Consider going "all out" and fully participating in the ice-breaking games.
Think of creative ways to draw other people out who appear to be shy. Think of some interesting questions to ask. Don't reply on "Do you come to these parties often?" or "Have you been to these parties before?"
Try questions like, "What's your favorite thing to do when you're not coming to a party like this?" "What's your typical day like?" "Could you share your most embarassing moment?" What do you look for in ___ (a good restaurant? movie? party? new car? piece of music? ) What new years resolutions (if any) did you set? How are you coming on them?
Find at least 3 positive things to say about other people. For example:
"I like what you said about ___ because ____. "
"That's a cool shirt."
"Where did you buy those shoes! They're great."
"You really now how to move on the dance floor!"
Try going out of your way to thank the host of the party and those volunteering
their time to be greeters.
